Nasci na cidade de Florianópolis, no dia 25 de julho. Estudei nos Colégios Coração de Jesus e Catarinense.
Em 1976, morei na cidade de Pekin-Illinois-USA, durante 6 meses, onde obtive experiências importantes para minha vida.
Conheci meu parceiro, o trabalho e a Fotografia no ano de 1978 . Meu primeiro emprego foi no SENAC, trabalhei até 1982. Quando fomos morar em Xanxerê. Meu companheiro conheci dentro de um ônibus, indo para Urubici-SC, mostrando que as viagens já estavam no nosso DNA. Sete de março foi o dia do nosso casamento. Tivemos três filhos, Vinícius, Vicente e Ana Paula. A fotografia por medidas economicas precisou esperar algum tempo. Na época fotografia era um alto investimento.
Loucos por estradas, no ano em que moramos em Xanxerê aproveitamos para viajar pelo Oeste Catarinense. Foram muitas cidades conhecidas até que por uma infelicidade sofremos um acidente (o carro capotou) em Ipira-SC. Todos momentos livres eram utilizados para estar nas estradas e de preferência pelas sem pavimentação.
Foi em 1985 que arranjei meu segundo emprego. Agora na COHAB/SC. Ali deixei 20 anos, mas aprendi que empregada não era meu forte. e descobri meu lado empresarial. Comecei vendendo salgadinhos durante o intervalo, depois montamos uma revistaria e por fim um estacionamento náutico.
Precisava ter conhecimento para obter recursos e poder estar em contato com a estrada e com a fotografia Em 1988, voltei para os bancos escolares para estudar sistema de informação, na ACEI. Por causa de uma grande paixão (nascimento da Ana Paula) acabei desistindo. O bom de tudo foi que descobri como é bom estudar. Foi em 2001 que levei a sério a importância do conhecimento, já com sonho bem nítido de percorrer as Américas. Entrei para faculdade de turismo e planejamento para aprender a fazer um projeto de viagem. Gostei tanto da brincadeira, que em 2005, quando me formei tive o melhor índice acadêmico 2005/1. Participei de todas as atividades externas, que a faculdade proporcionava e busquei experiências em todos os laboratórios, o mais importante foi o da cidade de Alfredo Wagner. Não contente com o nível de conhecimento, em 2006 entrei para a faculdade de comunicação social, me formando em Jornalismo e pos graduando em fotografia.
Em 2016, participei de uma grande aventura de 3 anos e 9 meses
